Taiko no Izumi Kyouwakan, founded in 2021 by members of
the Asano family--Akitoshi, Rite, Sumiyo, Machiko, and Katsuji--is a new and ambitious taiko drum manufacturer.

Together, they are dedicated to mastering Akitoshi's specialized taiko-making techniques,
sound-crafting methods, and extensive knowledge of drum production.

Though still in the early stages of development, the family is steadily progressing as a startup,

driven by a shared passion for both tradition and innovation in taiko craftsmanship.
